Directions

From Cork City/Airport to Kinsale:

From the city centre, follow the signs for the Airport (south of the city). From the Airport follow the signs for Kinsale (R600).

From Kinsale:

Drive out of Kinsale and follow the signs for Bandon and Garrettstown until you come to a bridge at the end of town. Cross the bridge, following the road around to the right (Old Head is signposted from here). Exactly 2 miles after the bridge, turn left at the junction. Follow this road for another 3 ½ miles until you reach the Speckled Door pub. Drive straight on for 1 mile. This will bring you to the gates of  Old Head Golf Links.

From Waterville:

Follow the N70 via Caherciveen and Killorglin and then take the N72 to Killarney…

From Ballybunion:

Follow the R553 to Listowel, the N69 to Tralee and the N21/22 to Killarney…..

From Killarney:

Follow the N22 to Macroom. From Macroom follow the directions for Cork but turn to the right at Crookstown in the direction of Bandon (R590)…..

From Bandon:

Follow the N71, but just before exiting the town, take a right and go through Ballinadee, Ballinspittle, Garrettstown, taking a right at the Speckled Door pub for Old Head.

Alternatively: Follow the N71 through Bandon towards Cork. Take a right at Halfway roundabout (a major junction on exiting Inishannon) and follow the signs to Kinsale on the R607.
