Highlights of international Membership

You will be one of a limited number of Members, sharing your Club with some of the more discerning and influential golfers from around the world. It is the ultimate goal to complete the membership programme with invited golfers who will help build and preserve the traditions and history of Old Head Golf Links.

MEMBERSHIP OUTLINE:
The main details on International Membership are as follows:
• The membership is for you and your spouse.
• The entire Membership Deposit is refundable in full after 30 years.
• You may, within the 30 years, transfer the membership once to a lineal descendent without further payment of a Membership Deposit.
• Memberships resigned within the 30-year period will be refunded in a "1-in-6" basis, i.e. one resigned membership will be issued once 6 new Members join the Club, unless a membership waiting list is in place at the time.
• Members are not subject to either operating or capital assessments.
• Annual dues in 2010 will be €2,500, payable at the start of the calendar year.
The Bye-Laws document can be forwarded to you upon request.

GOLF:
• You and your spouse will play unlimited and complimentary golf at exclusive members tee times.
• The course is open 7 days a week from mid-April to the end of October.
• Old Head boasts one of the largest caddy programmes in Europe, as well as a professionally trained golf staff to look after your every need.
• An extensive practice range, located in the middle of the headland, overlook Galley Head and the Atlantic Ocean. The short game area also provides an invaluable opportunity to sharpen up your shots before hitting the links.

TOURNAMENTS:
• You are invited to take part in Old Head's renowned tournaments, both on site during the summer months and at exclusive locations during the winter, making Old Head a 12-month-a-year Club. These are the perfect opportunity to meet other Members and their guests at the Club and abroad.
• The on-site Old Head events include Member-only weekends, Member/Guest tournaments and weekly matches between local and international members - all are celebrations of great golf and camaraderie, Irish history and culture.
• The overseas events will lead you to unusual and elegant worldwide locations. We also host a number of inter-Club matches with courses such as Valderrama, Old Palm and Congressional.

GUESTS:
• Old Head is the ideal location to host your friends, family and clients. The fine facilities and service at the Club are an important attribute of membership at Old Head and we encourage you to invite and send guests, who will avail of playing privileges at the Club.
• You may introduce accompanied or unaccompanied guests at special Member/Guest rates. They also benefit from a reduced rate for the suites.
• Your non-golfing guests have not been overlooked: the on-site facilities including the Old Head Spa is available to them, as well as an endless list of activities and attractions in the area, with everything from local sightseeing tours, pottery classes, bespoke art galleries, boutiques and harbour cruises.

CLUBHOUSE & FACILITIES:
• You are invited to stay in our elegant, private Members Suites overlooking the course, the historic Old Head of Kinsale lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean.
• You may avail of the Fitness Suite, Thermal Spa and Treatment rooms on site, as well as the Members Room.
• We will store and maintain your clubs and essentials throughout the year. Your personalised locker will be ready for your every visit and your clubs waiting for you on the 1st tee.
• You will enjoy the award-winning fine cuisine in the de Courcey Restaurant or Lusitania Bar.
• Special packages can be arranged for you. For example, you can work with our beauty therapist and personal trainer to arrange a special programme including a Member Fitness Menu.
• You will benefit of a 25% discount in Old Head's exclusive Golf Shop.

CONCIERGE:
• Old Head's Member Concierge service can make tee-time arrangements for you and your guests at Ireland's other fine golfing destinations, as well as the air and ground transport to get you to and from there, together with accommodation and restaurant bookings.
• The Concierge will help you with any social gathering or business events you want to organize, be it an intense competition among old friends, a relaxing couples weekend or a small corporate group outing. The rest of our dedicated staff will help to make it a success on the day.
• The Concierge will also advise of other activities in the area for golfers and non-golfers alike.

KINSALE:
• Take a short limousine ride to Kinsale, the Gourmet Capital of Ireland, to sample the delights of Kinsale, on land and sea.
• There you will find countless lively Irish pubs and excellent restaurants as well as a long list of activities, shops and historic sites to discover.
